Maximum annual state deduction Ohio allows state residents to deduct annual contributions they make to any Ohio 529 plan from their state income taxes. There is an annual deduction limit of $4,000 per beneficiary for an individual taxpayer and $4,000 per beneficiary for married taxpayers filing jointly with an unlimited carry-forward provision for excess contributions. Not Applicable. There is no personal income tax in Alaska.
